closing ceremony for the “Youth Employment in Egypt” project, implemented in collaboration with ILO

Alkorra Foundation for Sustainable Development participated in organizing the closing ceremony of the Youth Employment in Egypt (EYE) project: Finding a Reason to Stay, in cooperation with the International Labor Organization, at the Fairmont Nile City Hotel.

Over the past three years, the foundation has contributed to raising awareness about irregular migration as part of the project’s objectives, by building the capacities of youth in Qalyubia and Menoufia governorates and supporting youth initiatives for social change.

Dr. Manal Maher El-Gamiel, the General Director of Alkorra Foundation for Sustainable Development, participated in a discussion session on presenting available opportunities for youth in the market through various governmental and non-governmental entities.

Alkorra Foundation for Sustainable Development also held a special session on the efforts of youth initiatives and success stories from the targeted local communities, which had a significant impact on the youth, receiving praise from all attendees and participants at the ceremony.
