“Forbes” has announced its list of the 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen in the Middle East for 2025, led by the most important companies and banks in the region and North Africa. This list represents 32 sectors and 29 different nationalities.
The announcement includes ENG. Heba Korra, a founding member and board member of the AlKorra Foundation for Sustainable Development, and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Korra Energy and Investment Company.
Heba Korra has held her current position since 2020, overseeing and managing Korra for Energy and Investment, which includes the companies Korra Energy and Korra Agriculture. In December 2024, her company Korra Energy signed a contract with Solariz Egypt to implement a solar energy project with a capacity of 4.8 megawatts in the Sahl Hasheesh area. In August 2023, she signed a contract for civil, construction, and finishing works with Middle East Veterinary Vaccines (Mivac) for three veterinary vaccine factories. Heba Korra also serves as a board member of the AlKorra Foundation for Sustainable Development and is the Vice Chair of the Energy Committee at the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association.
The Forbes list of the 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen is an annual list published by Forbes magazine, featuring the most influential women in the business world. These women are selected based on criteria including their influence, achievements in their fields, innovations they have made, and their leadership of prominent local and global companies in the region. The ranking is based on various other criteria, including company size, individual achievements, leadership roles, as well as contributions to sustainability initiatives and social responsibility.
