The Civic Education Center in Gezira witnessed an exceptional day as part of the “qaedat shabab” activities, bringing together a group of technology and artificial intelligence experts for an interactive dialogue session. The session was led by Professor Dr. Ahmed Darwish, former Minister of Administrative Development, who efficiently moderated the discussion, reviewing the most important aspects of the session’s topic, “Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities and Challenges.” The session was also attended by Engineer Ayman Kamal Korra, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Al Korra Foundation for Sustainable Development.
A group of specialists participated in the session, including Engineer Ziad Abdel Tawab, Assistant Secretary-General of the Cabinet for Information Systems and Digital Transformation; Engineer Ahmed Abdel Latif, an expert in the communications sector and digital infrastructure; Engineer Amr Abdel Aziz, a consultant and product manager for artificial intelligence at an American company; and Engineer Tarek Salem, founder of “I’m Home,” a company specializing in assistive devices and technologies.
The discussions covered a range of vital topics, including the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of jobs and entrepreneurship. The session also reviewed the most prominent free applications that can be used to increase productivity, and analyzed how to combat misinformation generated by AI tools. The session was a fruitful opportunity to exchange ideas and insights on ways to leverage AI technologies to address potential future challenges.
In conclusion, this session impacted the participants and opened new horizons for understanding the promising potential of AI, as well as the challenges we must collectively address.
The conference also honored Professor Dr. Ahmed Darwish, former Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone, former Minister of Administrative Development, and member of the Board of Trustees of the Al korra Foundation for Sustainable Development, for his effective role in serving civil society and raising awareness among youth. The conference also honored Ms. Nagwa Salah, Undersecretary of the Ministry and Head of the Central Administration for Youth Development, in recognition of her distinguished leadership role in supporting youth, contributing to their development, and providing opportunities that enhance their capabilities to become future leaders. The conference also honored Dr. Abdullah Al-Batish, Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, for his tireless efforts in supporting Egyptian youth and his belief in their capabilities, as well as his effective role in strengthening cooperation between the Ministry and the Foundation to empower rising generations.
This comes within the framework of the fruitful partnership between the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Central Administration for Youth Development, and the Al korra Foundation for Sustainable Development, under the slogan “qaedat shabab”—fruitful and constructive discussions on the most important topics of interest to Egyptian youth.. from youth to youth.
