Who We Are
Alkorra Foundation for Sustainable Development was officially launched in 2010 within the framework of social responsibility of the Conestoga Group of Companies for Commercial Agencies and Technical Consultations in Cairo, due to the desire of the company’s management to move in implementing social responsibility from the charitable and relief level to the level of sustainable development, and accordingly it was declared as an Egyptian non-profit civil society organization. It was registered with the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity in March 2011 under No. 8082 of 2011. Then it was transferred to a central institution under No. 1012 of 2021, and its conditions were reconciled with the Law on the Organization of Private Work No. 149 of 2019.
Alkorra Foundation for Sustainable Development seeks to support sustainable development efforts in Egypt, especially economic and social development, by investing in human capital to enhance the value of work and productivity by developing the capabilities of promising youth and encouraging them to pursue entrepreneurship in cooperation with local and international institutions.
